Schouten Europe, a family-owned business based in Giessen that produces meat alternatives, is acquiring industry peer Bobeldijk Food Group from Deventer. With this acquisition, Schouten is expanding its production capacity and strengthening its position in the European market for plant-based meat and fish alternatives, where it has been active since 1990.
